Job Description Project HSE Representative
- Prepare and manage, analyze and review the approved departmental budget and take corrective action when necessary.
- Provide leadership and management for all the members of the HSE team.
- Implement techniques for safety functions such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and COMOPS in adherence with the code of safe working practice, safe operating procedures, and safety management systems.
- Promote workplace safety awareness and encourage the employees’ wellbeing by conducting productive training sessions.
- Develop and manage all workplace safety procedures, programs and policies for the company.
- Coordinate “Root cause” analysis for the incident investigation methodology.
- Take charge of the annual HSE planning and performance measurement and report it to the corporate level.

- Improve organizational performance through hazards identification, HSE internal audits, periodic progress report, risk assessment and control measures implementation.
- Nurture all legal and company standards, while handling HSE issues, preparing annual training plans and interfacing with external bodies.
- Responsibilities have been to ensure compliance with the Code of Safe Working Practice, the company Safety Management System (S.M.S) and the Safe Operating Procedure (S.O.P.s).
- Ensure compliance with all the legislative and the company’s requirements applicable to Social and HSE issues in the Company’s operations for all personnel, including contractors and implementation of appropriate control measures to minimize risks to an acceptable level.

- Investigate all accidents, dangerous occurrences and potential hazards and report them.
- Carry out health and Hygiene inspections on a weekly basis together with the Doctor and the Camp boss.
- Conduct Weekly Supervisors Safety Meetings with the vessel management.
- Report any safety deficiencies to the vessel’s Superintendent.
- Promote safety awareness to all the members of the crew.
- Ensure that all safety precautions are taken at any time and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and correctly used.
- Propose HSE related corrective actions when and where required.
- Cultivate permanent safety awareness amongst the crew with the Safety Observation Cards (SHOC-Card) program.
