- Coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies on EHS compliance and reporting.
- Led a team of safety professionals in conducting regular safety audits at all company locations.
- Develop Provide expert oversight to the operations on the project through the Continual Observation and Risk Evaluation (CORE) system related to the project subcontractors.

- Ensure that all HSE procedures, policies and local regulations are adhered to, and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated across the project vessels fleet.

- Start-up project in accordance with Van Oord Safety Management systems
- Develop and obtain client approval for Project HSE Plans, Method Statements, DPR reporting format and Emergency Response Procedures
- Develop and obtain client approval for project Environmental and Quality Procedures

Assistance in project HSE Plans in accordance with the client’s HSE policy.
Provide leadership and management for all the members of the HSE team.
Develop client relationships, attend and contribute to client meetings as required.
Communicate with the HSE team in order to discuss and implement company policies and procedures.
Educational and coaching operations on the Company safety management system and expectations .
Manage and perform HSE audits to verify the implementation of the HSE requirements in the Company’s operations.
Establish HSE baselines, standards and targets; constantly monitor and periodically report progress to the Company HSE Director and management.
Able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication to individuals and groups of various sizes who possess a wide range of language skills.
Lead and support the HSE Officers to work safely and productively through role clarity, support with allocation of work and priorities, regular feedback, access to professional development, and an effective approach for reviewing performance and development goals.
Contribute to and participate in active and engaged safety culture on the offshore site to decrease incidents and increase quality and safety.

Prepare and manage, analyze and review the approved departmental budget and take corrective action when necessary.
Provide leadership and management for all the members of the HSE team.
Implement techniques for safety functions such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, and COMOPS in adherence with the code of safe working practice, safe operating procedures, and safety management systems.
Promote workplace safety awareness and encourage the employees’ wellbeing by conducting productive training sessions.
Develop and manage all workplace safety procedures, programs and policies for the company.
Coordinate “Root cause” analysis for the incident investigation methodology.
Take charge of the annual HSE planning and performance measurement and report it to the corporate level.
Coordinate the HSE incident reporting and investigation framework and provide reports to the management and Board Committees.
Coordinate internal / external HSE audits and develop plans for statistical analysis and reports of HSE performance.
Accompany local government HSE inspectors and project Corporate on inspections and ensure corrections in order to provide compliance with legislations.

Improve organizational performance through hazards identification, HSE internal audits, periodic progress report, risk assessment and control measures implementation.
Nurture all legal and company standards, while handling HSE issues, preparing annual training plans and interfacing with external bodies.
Responsibilities have been to ensure compliance with the Code of Safe Working Practice, the company Safety Management System (S.M.S) and the Safe Operating Procedure (S.O.P.s).
Ensure compliance with all the legislative and the company’s requirements applicable to Social and HSE issues in the Company’s operations for all personnel, including contractors and implementation of appropriate control measures to minimize risks to an acceptable level.
Manage Contractor safety, including contractor trainings and work specifications.
Liaise with all the requirements of the external bodies (government departments, local groups, other companies, etc.).
Prepare and distribute quarterly and annual HSE reports.
Investigate all accidents, dangerous occurrences and potential hazards.
Cultivate permanent safety awareness amongst the crew with the Safety Observation Cards (SHOC-Card) program.
Conduct regular inspections, safety audits and hazard assessments of work locations, work groups, projects and individuals at the assigned job location.

Take part in the preparation of Permits to Work and updating of the PTW system.
Ensure that all crew work activities are carried out in a safe manner with all hazards identified and appropriate precautions put in place.

Ensure synchronization with functional teams, assist with planning, issues resolution and risk avoidance. Develop and implement the business processes needed to support reporting and provide instructions on development procedures, methodology and quality.
Design Security Profile Upgrades for MRP Users.
Material Master MM – Reviewed and tested purchasing groups, purchase requisition, purchase orders, contracts, price determination process, material types and valuation classes. Reconciled goods movement processing, goods issues, and goods receipts.
PP sub-modules implemented: Sales & Operation Planning, Demand Management, Long Term Planning, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning and Product Costing.

Perform modification of the electrical process control PLC & SCADA systems. Good experience with PLC (S5, S7) and SCADA systems (PROTOOL, WINCC).
Correctly diagnose problems in complex automated systems including pneumatic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical components and repair the problems.
Communicate status of all systems to appropriate production personnel.
